Chef Ljubomir Stanisic’s new kitchen environment

Movimar is distinguished by the variety of customized solutions tailored to the needs of each client! We design, advise and produce unique kitchen environments!

We accepted the challenge of creating Chef Ljubomir Stanisic’s new kitchen environment, a project that we developed and carried out with the dedication and professionalism that characterizes us and distinguishes us as a brand of quality and prestige.

Movimar: This kitchen has been personalized for you. How do you summarize the whole experience with Movimar and how has it been enjoying your new kitchen?

Chef: “I think the experience can be summed up as a very happy fluke. The truth is that I didn’t know Movimar before and it was when we started doing research for my new kitchen that we came across Movimar. We really liked what we saw, the kitchens, the brand philosophy, the fact of being Portuguese … And we were even more satisfied after the first contact, when we realized how simple and uncomplicated the whole process would be. I don’t have a lot of time, I like to simplify, to get straight to the point, and it was great to work with a team that quickly understood the objectives and achieved them without having to waste a lot of time. The kitchen is everything we ask for. It has been great to have a space like this at home, created from scratch to meet our needs, even because we didn’t have much space and organization was essential. I hate to waste time looking for things.”

Movimar: Out of curiosity, what was the first meal you prepared in your Movimar kitchen? With whom you shared this experience?

Chef: I think it was a breakfast with the family. Breakfast is my favorite meal. When I have time, I like to make a real feast: pancakes, fruit, smoothies, granola, bread, cheeses…”

Movimar: What reactions have you had to your new kitchen, from friends and family that you have already received in your home?

Chef: At this time in Covid, we haven’t received as many people as usual. We have limited our contacts to the family a lot but everyone has been very surprised, especially with the organizational capacity that the different corners and nooks offer. I think there will be new customers soon… 🙂 “

Movimar: After the experience you had with us, would you highly recommend Movimar?

Chef: Yes, without a doubt!

Chef’s recipe, shared exclusively with Movimar: 🙂

Sweet potato crepes with homemade jam

For crepes:
1kg sweet potato from Aljezur
4 eggs
100ml of whole milk
50g butter
Salt and pepper qb
Ghee butter (clarified) qb

For the sweet:
1.5kg of ripe tomatoes
500g sugar
2 vanilla pods
2dl white wine

For crepes:

Preheat the oven to 150ºC with a water tray inside. Place the potatoes on a tray and bake in the oven for 1h. Lower the temperature to 120ºC and bake for another 45 minutes. While the potatoes are baking, place the butter in a small saucepan and caramelize slightly (if you have a thermometer, bring the butter to 155ºC). Remove the potatoes from the oven and peel while they are hot. Beat the eggs. Crush the potatoes with the milk, add the butter and eggs, and season with salt and pepper. Heat a spoonful of ghee coffee in a frying pan and make the crepes.

For the sweet:

Place the tomatoes in a pot of boiling water. Leave until the skin starts to open. Refresh with ice water. Skin the tomatoes. Cut in half. Remove the seeds. In a saucepan, add wine, sugar and vanilla pods (the inside). When it starts to boil, add the tomatoes cut in half. Cook over low heat for 75 minutes. Stir to avoid catching. Remove the pods. Grind with a magic wand. This recipe for tomato jam can be applied to other fruits and vegetables, such as pumpkin, strawberries, etc.

Serve the crepes with the homemade jam.
