Movimar is a Portuguese company specialized in the manufacture of tailor-made kitchen, wardrobes, and bathroom furniture.
Manufacturing tailor-made project since 1989, Movimar started as a small carpentry shop, result of a dream and passion for the woodcraft art, a legacy that still is the heart of the company. Today, with an experience of 33 years, Movimar is an essential reference in its sector and is recognized in Portugal and international markets where is present, as one of the biggest and most prestigious Portuguese kitchen furniture manufacturers.
Strategically located in Mafra (with proximity to the airport and port of Lisbon, and the A8 and A1 highway), the company has a manufacturing area of more than 8000 sqm and gathers the dedication and motivation of about 80 specialists.
The Movimar brand is present from north to south of Portugal, through its more than 30 representatives. It is also present in strategic international markets – such as France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland -, showing products that stand out for their quality, reliability, and authenticity.

Movimar's first factory, in Ericeira (Mafra)
Foundation of Movimar, having as partners Carlos Pina and his wife Natividade Jesus; 220m2 industrial area located in Ericeira.
Opening of the 1st showroom in Ericeira.
Change of manufacturing facilities to the Mafra Business Center (NEM) - expansion of the manufacturing area and investment in new machinery and workforce.
Opening of the showroom in the center of Mafra.
Expansion to the Angola market, with its own facilities in Luanda.
Opening of the showroom in NEM, in Mafra, with a total area of 400 m2.
As a strategic option, Movimar no longer has a showroom for public direct sale, and is now represented in Portugal and abroad by its representatives.
New investments in technology and human resources in the area of marketing, innovation and design.
Manufacturing unit expansion project, with the move to larger and more modern facilities expected in three years. This expansion will allow an increase in the production capacity.

All production phases are ensured internally, from cutting to painting, including finishing, assembly, and packaging. The company thus ensures a complete product, manufactured in-house, while guaranteeing the quality and rigor that have always characterized it.
We work with the best suppliers in the market in raw materials, fittings, and accessories, such as Egger, Finsa, Polyrey, Cleaf, Sonae, Krono Swiss, Blum, Peka, Kessebohmer, Vauth Saggel, among other suppliers with ISO 9001 and ISO certification 14001 (quality and environment).
All raw materials are of the highest quality, and all products are exhaustively tested to measure and guarantee maximum resistance to temperatures, weight, or constant use.
The wide stock of raw materials, the quality and rigor of the selection of suppliers, the technical knowledge of employees, the organization and quality control of the production process make Movimar a reference brand.
Logistics
Movimar has its own fleet of vehicles, which allows direct delivery of the goods to the assembly site (home of the final customer), in national territory. This allows us to streamline the delivery process by our representatives.
